    HEAR HEAR!!!

Now the question is what to do with Ian Kennedy though… (anyone wanna pull a “Tanya Harding” in DoucheBagVille?)

It’s not Kennedy you need to worry about. Yes, he’s having a good year, but Kershaw has the edge in ERA, K’s, K/BB, K/9, BB/9, WHIP, complete games, FIP, and WAR. He’s tied in wins (not that wins should matter, but they do for some reason). Point being, pick a stat, traditional or advanced, Kershaw wins. The only thing that’s going against him is pitching in an easier ballpark, but that won’t be enough to account for the differences. The only guy who can stop Kershaw is Halladay, and that’s a conversation that usually ends in a coin toss. If anything it will go to Halladay by virtue of name recognition and playing for a winning team.
